Shiloh's Birthday

Pearl’s puppies are keeping me busy, but I wanted to shine a little light on our girl Shiloh, who turned 1 earlier this month. She’s the daughter of the Count and the Pearl. I called her Shiloh Honey Doe because of her honey gold coat and her doe eyes. She is quite a jumper and a delight to our hearts.

Babu's Story

I want to introduce one of my puppies to you. He’s no longer a puppy. He was born in May of 2020, so he’s almost 3 years old. He’s had a great, happy life with a dear couple who used to live in my town of Moscow, Idaho. They’ve recently moved to another nearby town and along with a different living situation, their work situation has changed dramatically. Because of this, they do not feel they can offer Babu the attention and proper living situation he needs. So this handsome, sweet, Italian greyhound is looking for a new home. He has been lovingly cared for by this affectionate family. He is current on his vaccinations and has been neutered. If you want more information about Babu please email me at greyhavenspups@gmail.com.

Update: Babu has been adopted by a great family. I’m so happy he has a new home!

Startup Blog

I want to start blogging, hopefully regularly, to keep interested parties in the loop on how and what my pack is doing. I think Dora and Pearl are pregnant. They will be due around March 27 and after. However, we will be on the puppy lookout a week before that. I’m excited to see these new pups! If you have emailed me about being notified about puppies, I will be emailing you when the pups arrive. I will take deposits on puppies on a first come, first served basis. I don’t take deposits before they are born.

As soon as possible, I will start posting pictures on this website, so you can get a good look at the little darlings.

I have been working with my pack on impulse control lately. They are doing pretty well! They’re pretty quick on the pick up—they know a good deal when they see it.

I’ve been reading a really interesting book recently called Forever Dog by Rodney Habib and Dr. Karen Shaw Becker. It addresses many issues involved with helping our canine best friends live long and healthy lives. I’m especially interested in what they have to say about diet. They pretty much confirm how I’ve been feeding my dogs for years, but I appreciate being able to tweak their diet in a positive direction.

Keep your eyes peeled for puppy updates!
